The Flight Track user interface contains four panels: the Track, Prediction, Flight
Information, and Charts panels. These display
real-time and simulated tracking information, tabulated prediction information, general flight information, and
charted, real-time flight data respectively. The User Interface section reviews MapPoint legends, and the Front
Panel, Prediction, and Flight Information panel contents.
Flight Track predicts weather balloon flight paths, and tracks and reviews weather balloon flights. The Workflow
section reviews how to make a weather balloon flight path prediction, how to set up Flight Track to track a weather
balloon flight, and how to review a weather balloon flight.
Flight Track creates and maintains files including flight logs, flight set up, prediction information,
processed wind data, and Flight Track options. The Files section reviews the purpose and format of these

section reviews how to use the Options dialog and how Flight Track uses each option or configuration.
